My becoming a sustaining member of Siddha Academy by Ganesh sir, was motivated and facilitated most strongly by being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, and then reading about the dire consequences of not controlling Diabetes, fear drove me to finally become more diligent. My instructor, Ganesh was introduced to me by my father in Mumbai who has been a saving grace for him. My father has been a regular student of his and says his teachings have transformed his life. After the conversation, Ganesh was willing to work according to my hectic schedule.

My experience in taking Ganesh’s classes has been fantastic on many levels. He provides a warm and supportive atmosphere for his students and is attentive to particular needs. His yoga wisdom and sense of calm are among the first things one senses when getting on the mat. His narrative provides information on the core and ancient principles of yoga as well as observations on contemporary life (sometimes quite humorous). Apart from yoga, he is very helpful in providing advice on controlling anxiety and teaching relaxation techniques! He is a thorough professional and a great life coach too! !

In a very short span of time, yoga has brought me physical health, but more importantly peace and an overall feeling of well being! I feel fortunate to practice at such a welcoming academy and will be forever grateful to Ganesh for the knowledge I have gained!
